MORE THAN A SANDWICH
Mr. American Hero isn't just the best sub in town — it's a movement. When a local deli or sub shop joins the Mr. American Hero program, they commit to donating 10% of the proceeds from every Mr. American Hero sandwich sold directly to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation through our official Do Good campaign page.
It's simple: you make a great sandwich, your customers feel great eating it, and together you help provide mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families, injured veterans, and first responders. That's what we call a sandwich on a mission.
License the Mr. American Hero name for your shop. Create your own signature hero sub that carries the mission forward with every order.
Each month, 10% of your Mr. American Hero sandwich proceeds are donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation through our Do Good campaign page.
Your customers will know that every Mr. American Hero they buy supports Gold Star families, injured veterans, and first responders in need.

HONOR OUR HEROES
A tribute wall honoring the brave men and women who serve and have served our great nation. Submit a tribute to honor your hero.
Corporal James Robert Sullivan
🦅 U.S. Marines
"My brother Jimmy was the bravest man I ever knew. He enlisted right after high school because he believed in something bigger than himself. He served two tours in Iraq and gave everything for his country. Not a day goes by that we don't think about him. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. Semper Fi, brother."
Staff Sergeant Maria Elena Rodriguez
⭐ U.S. Army
"My mother served 12 years in the U.S. Army, including three deployments to Afghanistan. She was a combat medic who saved countless lives on the battlefield. After returning home, she continued to serve her community as a nurse at the VA hospital. She taught us that true heroism is showing up every single day for the people who need you most."
Chief Petty Officer William 'Bill' Thompson
⚓ U.S. Navy
"Dad spent 30 years in the Navy, from a young seaman to Chief Petty Officer. He served on three aircraft carriers and was part of Operations Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. Now retired, he volunteers at the local VFW and mentors young sailors. He always says the Navy gave him everything — discipline, purpose, and a family. We're so proud of his service."
Captain David Chen
✈️ U.S. Air Force
"My husband David is currently serving as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He's been deployed twice and every time he leaves, our whole family holds their breath until he comes home safe. He's an incredible father to our two kids and an even more incredible patriot. We are so proud of his service and sacrifice. Fly safe, babe. We love you."
Sergeant First Class Robert 'Bobby' O'Brien
⭐ U.S. Army
"Bobby was my best friend since kindergarten. He always wanted to be a soldier, and he became one of the finest the Army ever produced. He was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010, leaving behind a wife and three young children. Every Memorial Day, our whole neighborhood flies flags in his honor. Bobby, you are never forgotten. Your sacrifice means everything."
Petty Officer Second Class Angela Marie Washington
🛟 U.S. Coast Guard
"My sister Angela served 8 years in the Coast Guard, participating in dozens of search and rescue missions along the Florida coast. She saved 14 lives during Hurricane Irma alone. She's now a firefighter in Jacksonville, continuing her mission to protect and serve. Angela, you inspire everyone around you. Thank you for your bravery."
Specialist Thomas 'Tommy' Kowalski
🛡️ National Guard
"Tommy works as a high school teacher during the week and serves in the National Guard on weekends. When the floods hit western Pennsylvania last year, he was one of the first responders on the scene, helping evacuate families from their homes. He balances two lives of service — one in the classroom and one in uniform. We couldn't be more proud."
Gunnery Sergeant Richard 'Rick' Nakamura
🦅 U.S. Marines
"My grandfather Rick served 22 years in the Marine Corps. From the Gulf War to Iraq to Afghanistan, he was there for all of it. He earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star, but he never talks about them. He says the real heroes are the ones who didn't come home. Now 62, he runs a martial arts studio for at-risk youth. Once a Marine, always a Marine."
Colonel Patricia 'Pat' Miller
⭐ U.S. Army
"Colonel Pat Miller broke barriers her entire career. She was one of the first women to command a combat support battalion and served 30 years with distinction. She deployed to Desert Storm, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. After retirement, she founded a nonprofit helping women veterans transition to civilian careers. She's a true American hero in every sense of the word."
Hospital Corpsman Anthony 'Tony' Russo
⚓ U.S. Navy
"My father Tony was a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines in Vietnam. He was just 19 years old when he was treating wounded Marines under fire in the jungles of Da Nang. He came home a different man but never lost his compassion. He spent 40 years as a paramedic in Brooklyn. Dad, you saved lives on the battlefield and on the streets of New York. You're our hero."
